Panang Curry Recipe

Posted on

There’s nothing quite like a fresh, steaming hot plate of Panang Curry served over white rice. A favorite menu item at many Thai Restaurants, Panang Curry offers salty, sweet, and nutty flavor profiles that you can reproduce at home. During the month of September, we have been sharing some of our Asian-inspired recipes, so make sure you go back and see our previous posts on Kung Pao Chicken, Mongolian Beef, and Chow Mein.

  3. Add coconut milk and bring up to a light boil

Chow Mein Recipe

Posted on

Chow Mein is a popular noodle dish throughout the USA, and is widely known as American Chinese food. Though it is usually served as a side, with added protein, Chow Mein can be a meal in its own right. At Catering Central, we love a good Chow Mein, and we’re excited to share some of our signature recipe with you.

First, it is important to prep your vegetables before you start cooking – this means green cabbage, carrots, and green onions. For the sauce, Chow Mein is made with a mixture of light soy sauce, and dark soy – using a ratio of two parts light to one part dark. Making sure we have plenty of space on a flat top grill, we fry the egg noodles in canola oil before adding veggies and seasoning with the soy mixture. At the end, we add the all-important sesame oil, as well as salt and pepper.
